This is our Alaska adventure. We arrived here in Valdez, Alaska in Nov. 07 and it is beautiful. The town is small but we have what we need. The winter was really hard for us to get used to but in a short amount of time we became "Alaskans" and were used to the cold temperatures. It is summer now but if you were here you would so not think so. It rains all the time and the sun comes out once in a blue moon. Speaking of the sun, when it does come out....it is out all day. It is hard to adjust to that. All I can say is black curtains!!! Even though it is like 50 degrees here everyday you will always see Jayda in a skirt or dress. She is still a California girl.
We are enjoying our time here so far but we all can not wait to come home to the OC. Soon we will all be enjoying our family and the hot, hot sunshine. Can't wait to hit those beaches and real restaurants!!! You know what I mean if you live here or have visited. Mamma Cozza's pizza is waiting for me!!=) By the time we come home there will be tons of snow on the ground. Crazy huh?

Hey, great pictures of your sweet ones!! I know you are enjoying your time with family!.... But, get your butt back here, it's just not the same! :) You'll be happy to know that there may not be as much snow as you think when you get here b/c everytime it snows, then it rains for two days and the snow all melts away and the cycle repeats...so we don't have really any snow riht now after what it did this week. :) Just yucky and wet = slush everywhere!! fun fun - enjoy the sun! love ya!

Ahhh...a bear!!

Ahhh...a bear!!
Most people would run but no...we took a picture and watched this amazing wild animal catch a fish and eat it. Fun fact...he/she is a cub and a very picky one at that, the cub would catch a fish and only eat the females!!! Expensive taste or picky eater??? You decide. It was sad though..the poor male fish would just flop around on the ground!! Bummer.
